Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope has been working overtime on the 2025 recruiting class, with offers to top 15 players like Nate Ament and Darryn Peterson as well as offers to four-star players outside the top 20. On Monday, he extended another offer, this time to forward Dwayne Aristode.
Aristode is rated four stars by 247sports, and is in the top 20 players overall in their composite rankings. He’s the fourth ranked small forward in those rankings as well.

Obviously, Pope will have some serious competition for Aristode’s services. He has also heard from college football powerhouses like Kansas, Arizona, and the Duke Blue Devils. He’ll likely get even more offers as the summer goes on as well.
Kentucky and Pope haven’t landed any big commitments yet, but fans are hopeful that he’ll get some of the top guys to Lexington. Aristode would be a nice start to the 2025 class, and would make Big Blue Nation very happy.
