The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie released a lengthy 2024 NBA draft preview on Friday, ranking his top 100 prospects ahead of Wednesday’s selections.

Vecenie’s ranking included two former Duke basketball stars with [autotag]Jared McCain[/autotag] (14th) and [autotag]Kyle Filipowski[/autotag] (16th) both high on his Big Board.

Vecenie had the two Blue Devils higher than ESPN duo Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo, who put McCain 15th and Filipowski 21st in their rankings (also released on Friday).

McCain, a former five-star prospect from the Class of 2023, averaged 14.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game as a freshman. He also routinely bucked his head on big stages, with two 30-point games in the NCAA Tournament, 35 points against Florida State on the road, and 23 points in his first North Carolina game.

Filipowski, who came back after winning the 2022-23 ACC Rookie of the Year honors, finished the season as a Second Team All-American after averaging 16.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists as a sophomore. He scored at least 25 points in seven different games last season with a season-high 30 against Georgia Tech.

The NBA draft gets underway on June 26.
