Ole Miss lands commitment from highly-rated four-star 2025 power forward

The Rebels now own the nation’s top-ranked 2025 recruiting class.

Head coach Chris Beard and the Ole Miss Rebels landed a significant piece to their 2025 recruiting class Friday, as highly-touted prospect Tylis Jordan officially committed to the program.

A Top 50 overall prospect in the cycle, Jordan is rated as the nation’s No. 43 overall player in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, as well as the No. 14 power forward nationally. Jordan is also the No. 6 ranked player in the state of Georgia, where he attends Shiloh High School.

This past season as a junior, Jordan helped lead Shiloh to a 23-5 record in GHSA Class AAAAAA, averaging 21.3 PPG on 52% shooting from the field, as well as 10.3 RPG, 2.4 APG, 1.1 SPG, and 1.4 BPG.

With the commitment of Jordan, Ole Miss now holds the nation’s No. 1 overall recruiting class for the 2025 cycle. The four-star is now the highest-rated of that group as well, and joins Patton Pinkins, a four-star shooting guard out of Frenship High School in Texas, in that class.
