Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope has been in contact with quite a few players from the 2025 class, and has begun to extend scholarship offers. In recent weeks, Chris Cenac, Niko Bundalo, and Mikel Brown Jr. have received offers, and now Acaden Lewis is added to that list.
Lewis announced an unofficial visit to Lexington recently, and took that visit on Monday. The combo guard announced the offer from Pope while on that visit.

The 6’2″, 170lb guard is rated four stars by 247sports, and is the 59th overall player in their composite rankings. He’s their number 11 combo guard. Lewis also has offers from a number of other top programs, including Connecticut, North Carolina, and Louisville. The Auburn Tigers and Tennessee Volunteers are among the SEC schools who have recruited him.
Mark Pope had to build his 2024 squad almost entirely from the transfer portal, so his 2025 class will be his first as a recruiter. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out, but getting quality players like Acaden Lewis will prove to fans he can get top talent.
