For the third time on Sunday, a 2025 offensive lineman committed to the Duke football program.
Evan Scott, a 6-foot-4 tackle from Augusta, Georgia, announced his commitment through X (the social media platform known as Twitter) around 11 p.m. Eastern time.
“100% COMMITTED,” he wrote on the post.
Scott became the fourth commitment of the day for new Duke head coach [autotag]Manny Diaz[/autotag]. Two-way star Bradley Gompers led the charge before offensive tackle Cole Allen and interior lineman Jamin Brown both joined on as well.
Brown seemed pleased with Scott’s decision, as he shared an X post of his own saying “Another one” after the announcement.
Despite Scott being listed as an offensive tackle, he’s ranked as 247Sports‘ 123rd-ranked interior lineman in the Class of 2025. Despite being listed at 295 pounds, his height likely makes him a better fit as a guard.
With Scott now on board, the Blue Devils have 18 commits for the Class of 2025 and currently sit as 247Sports’ 23rd-ranked school in the cycle.
