Gervonta Davis — the man known as Tank — hadn’t fought in a bout in 14 months, but it didn’t look that way in his battle against Frank Martin.
Davis retained his WBA lightweight title and continued to show why he’s known for his knockouts (28 of his 30 victories came by KO) on Saturday, as he got Martin against the ropes in the eighth round, rained some blows on him before a left sent Martin to the canvas and that was that.
