The UCLA Bruins Women’s Softball team certainly is not going to take the time off and rest on the success that the Bruins found during the 2024 season. The Bruins continue to add talent to their roster to allow them to re-load next season. After reaching the College World Series, the Bruins learned their incoming freshman pitcher Addisen Fisher was named the Gatorade Softball National Player of the Year.
Fisher is a three time winner of the Gatorade Softball Player of the Year. The only season she did not win it was in 2022, her sophomore season. She is the 7th in UCLA Softball history to win the award. The last time was Megan Faraimo back in 2018.
