The NFL is full of star power, and several players were worthy of landing the Madden NFL 25 cover, including the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, and Saquon Barkley. After months of debate, EA Sports decided to name 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey the cover guy for this edition of the game.
McCaffrey just reworked his deal, maintaining his status as the NFL’s highest-paid running back, and he’ll enter this season as a viable MVP candidate after posting 272 carries for 1459 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns in 16 games in 2023.
He won his first Offensive Player of the Year award.
The NFL world reacts to everything, and McCaffrey landing the Madden 25 cover was no different.
