On Thursday, the Washington Huskies extended a scholarship offer to three-star Kennedy Catholic offensive lineman Lowen Colman-Brusa. According to his X (formerly Twitter) post, coach Jedd Fisch and offensive lineman Brennan Carroll made the offer as special as possible for his entire family, who were all in attendance for the moment.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Colman-Brusa is ranked as the No. 7 player in the state by the 247Sports Composite and also holds offers from Duke and Portland State but as soon as the Huskies offered him a scholarship, his hometown school instantly became the favorite to land his commitment.
247Sports national recruiting editor Brandon Huffman put in a crystal ball prediction for Colman-Brusa to commit to Washington, which would give Carroll a promising prospect to work with.
On tape, he shows that he’s a very good athlete with excellent movement skills that could have a future at tackle or guard after a year or two developing more power in a college weight room.
The offer could also bode well for Washington’s recruitment of Lowen’s younger brother Derek, who is the No. 1 player in the state in the 2026 class. The pair have attended multiple games and spring practices on unofficial visits and could be looking to continue to play together at the college level.
Some moments you can’t describe! I had an incredible visit to UW today and I’m excited to share that I have been offered a scholarship to attend and play football for the Huskies!☔️☔️
