Jazzy Davidson, the No. 3 recruit in the 2025 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings, revealed her six finalists and included Duke among the list.
On3’s Talia Goodman reported the announcement on Tuesday, which also included USC, UCLA, South Carolina, TCU, and Texas.
Davidson said she’s taking her time with the decision in Goodman’s report and plans to visit every school, but her list of priorities seems to favor head coach Kara Lawson and the Blue Devils.
“The combination of academics, which are super important to me, and obviously a really high-level basketball program,” Davidson said.
The 6-foot-1 guard also highlighted that she wants to see the relationship coaches have with players.
She’s been named the Gatorade Oregon Girls Basketball Player of the Year in each of the last three seasons. This past year, she averaged 26.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.8 steals, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 blocks for Clackamas High School en route to the state semifinals in Oregon’s Class 6A division.
Davidson, like Duke men’s basketball signee Patrick Ngongba II, made the USA Basketball U18 squad.
