Ex-UCLA star Monique Billings has big game for Wings in WNBA

Big game for Monique.

It was another monster game for former UCLA Bruins star Monique Billings. She recorded her third double-double of the season in a loss over Minnesota. The Dallas Wings forward scored 19 points, ripped down 15 rebounds and dished out 3 assists in the game.

On the season, the forward is scoring 14 points per game, and recording nearly 9 rebounds per game. Dallas with the loss fell to 3-4 on the season, which is 5th in the Western Conference.

Billings played four seasons at UCLA and more than 140 games. She scored 1,671 points in her Bruins career. In her junior season, she averaged 16.7 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game.  Billings helped her team to the NCAA Sweet 16 her sophomore season.

Billings was a second-round draft pick by Atlanta in 2018. She was there up until the end of the 2023 season before she signed with the Wings. Billings, a Riverside California native helped the Bruins to the Sweet 16 her sophomore season.

Last season with Atlanta, she started 9 games and played 16.7 minutes per game. This is definitely a breakout season for the former Bruins star.
