One of the biggest collegiate brands in the nation is the Alabama Crimson Tide. Its distinct colors, logos and phrases have made it one of the easiest athletics programs to market. Nike has been alongside Alabama since 1994 and is signed with the university through 2025.
A recent picture shared to social media, however, has fans asking questions and making assumptions about what’s ahead for the brand partnership.
Christian Robinson, Alabama football’s outside linebacker coach, posted a picture with Noah Carter, a four-star EDGE who is committed to the Crimson Tide. In the picture, Robinson is wearing a shirt that has the Alabama logo, a phrase that say “Hunt As One,” and the Jordan Brand ‘Jumpman’ logo.
Jordan Brand entered the collegiate athletics realm not too long ago and is affiliated with a few high profile programs like the Florida Gators, the Michigan Wolverines and the North Carolina Tar Heels, Michael Jordan’s alma mater.
Fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts and ask some questions regarding the confusion.
