Duke basketball stars from the past, present, and future show up for K Academy in Durham

Legendary Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski’s K Academy started in Durham on Tuesday, and the best Blue Devils of yesterday and tomorrow pulled up to help.

Legendary Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, the five-time national champion who coached the Blue Devils men’s basketball team for four decades, is still coaching hoops in Durham if you know where and when to look.

The K Academy, Krzyzewski’s basketball camp, began on Tuesday and gave amateur basketball players a chance to play for the famed coach and use his fabled program’s resources. Most hoops fans over the age of 35 have already missed their window to earn a chance to dribble up and down a court framed by championship banners, but the K Academy brings that possibility back into play.

Not only that, but camp attendees get to meet and play with the Duke stars of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Multiple members of the 2024-25 roster, as well as a few NBA stars who played at Cameron Indoor Stadium, came back to Durham to show their support for Krzyzewski and help out where they can around camp. Here are some of the notable names who made an appearance this year.
