UCLA offers 4-star football recruit RJ Sermons Jr.

UCLA gives out another offer.

The UCLA Bruins continue to hammer their recruiting during the off-season. This week, the Bruins extended an offer to RJ Sermons Jr., a four-star corner from the Golden State.

Sermons Jr., from Rancho Cucamonga, CA, announced his offer this Wednesday on X. The 6′ 1″, 185-pound defensive back still has a few more years in high school in the 2026 graduating class. That said, with competing offers from newly minted BIG 10 competitors USC and Oregon, Sermons Jr. has already made a statement with his play in his young playing career. With good length and size, Sermons Jr. projects as a boundary corner on the outside able to cover x-receivers.

Though the Bruins recently ranked dead last in recruiting in the BIG 10, if they can show growth in the seasons leading up to Sermons Jr.’s decision, they could climb in his ranks.

By extending an offer early, they are one of the favorites, for now, to land Sermons Jr. and hopefully continue their strong pitch over the next few years.
