For the third time in his career, Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic won the NBA’s MVP award.
Jokic earned 926 total votes, putting him in first place in the voting process ahead of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic, respectively.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jalen Brunson, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, Domantas Sabonis and Kevin Durant were among the other NBA players to also receive votes in the MVP tally.
While Jokic’s Nuggets aren’t in a good spot right now in the Western Conference playoffs, his outstanding regular season cemented his MVP status. It wouldn’t be surprising for him to win it again next year.
