A busy day on Wednesday continues for Kentucky basketball. Koby Brea committed to the Wildcats early in the day, and now Mark Pope has added another piece to the 2024-25 roster with the commitment of former Arizona and West Virginia guard Kerr Kriisa.
Originally a four-star recruit in the 2020 class, Kriisa joined the Arizona Wildcats as the 69th overall ranked player. He spent three years there before transferring to West Virgina before last season.
The Estonia native started 23 games last year, averaging 11 points and 4.7 assists per game. He was also a good shooter from three-point range, hitting on over 42% of his attempts.
Pope has been in the market for a point guard, but has missed out on a few of the options. Kriisa is a player he originally recruited at BYU, and is happy to land him now.
The Wildcats are in the process of rounding out their team, and have a few more targets in mind. Big Blue Nation should be happy about the way the roster is coming together on short notice, and will eagerly await further news.
