It didnβt look good for Notre Dame baseball though seven innings, as the Irish were trailing Radford 6-4 heading into the top of the 8th.
Notre Dame exploded for 7-runs, which finished off the scoring for the day, giving the Irish an 11-6 victory and improving its early season record to 11-5.
Third baseman Simon Baumgardt was the star for Notre Dame, as he when 2-for-4 with a grand slam in the 8th to help open up the Irish lead. Center fielder TJ Williams also homered in the contest, while designated hitter David Glancy had two hits to help the Irishβs cause.
On the mound, Jackson Dennies started the game, but only went an inning, as the majority of pitchers went a max of two frames.

Notre Dame finished the short 2-games series with a sweep, defeating Radford on Tuesday 10-3 in a much more comfortable game.
The Irish return to the diamond on Friday, as they face ACC foe Florida State in Tallahassee for a 3-game series.
