A cheer swept across a large portion of the Midwest and it appears that a large majority of Chicago Bears and NFL draft fans stopped scrolling the moment they saw a particular post pop up on their X (formerly Twitter) feed.
Former Washington Huskies star wide receiver Rome Odunze and the projected No. 1 pick in Thursday’s NFL draft, USC quarterback Caleb Williams acknowledged that they were on the same flight from Los Angeles to Detroit for the festivities, which sent football fans into a frenzy.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero added some more smoke to the rumors that the pair could team up in Chicago, since the Bears hold the No. 1 and No. 9 overall picks, reporting that the pair has been working out with Bears receivers D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen.
Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze didn’t just take the same flight to Detroit for the draft: I’m told Odunze recently caught balls from Williams … who also was throwing with #Bears WRs Keenan Allen and D.J. Moore.

Williams kicked everything off with a simple post, stating that the two were on the same flight for the draft.
Oh shit yall I just saw Rome Odunze on my flight to Detroit!! Big fan! 😂

Ever the comedian, Odunze replied with a callback to his viral comments from the NFL combine, when he was asked about his confidence in his ability to land an airplane.
I’m actually the pilot this morning. Don’t worry I’ll get Caleb to Detroit SAFELY!#nosoulshaveperished https://t.co/3P9OCV7py4

BetMGM certainly seems to want fans to make a bet on the duo teaming up in Chicago, which could help give the Bears one of the most explosive offenses in the NFC North.

Luke Sawhook from Personal Corner definitely agreed these two heading for Chicago was a good thing, as the Bears appear to be on the verge of completing an impressive rebuild.
