The NASCAR Xfinity Series arrived at Richmond Raceway for its first oval race since early March at Phoenix Raceway. However, one thing remained constant in the time between those two races. Joe Gibbs Racing flexed its muscles for a race victory, and the winner wasn’t any different than Phoenix a few weeks ago.

[autotag]Chandler Smith[/autotag] won the Xfinity Series race at Richmond over teammates Aric Almirola and Taylor Gray. Toyota finished 1-2-3-4, with Corey Heim and Sam Hunt Racing in fourth place. It was a dominant day for the manufacturer, as Aric Almirola won Stages 1 and 2. Almirola didn’t have enough for Smith at the end of the event.

Smith has two victories during the 2024 NASCAR season and leads the point standings after six races. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has five top-5 finishes and a worst finish of eighth place at COTA. Smith has arrived, and he looks to be the best driver in the Xfinity Series.
