Kentucky has contacted Milwaukee transfer B.J. Freeman

Kentucky interested in Milwaukee transfer B.J. Freeman

With their season over, the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team and its fans are beginning to build for next season. There are a number of quality players in the transfer portal, and John Calipari will certainly be adding from it. Milwaukee transfer B.J. Freeman could be one of them.

Kentucky got the news that forward Adou Thiero was entering the portal earlier this week, and they’re certain to lose some players to the NBA Draft. They could also lose another transfer or two. This will leave openings for transfers in from other schools.

B.J. Freeman is a 6’6″ guard who just finished his Junior season for Milwaukee. He averaged 21 points per game this season, which was 16th highest in the country.

Freeman has heard from a number of schools, including the Wildcats. Multiple other SEC schools, including Tennessee, have contacted him as well.

It’s sure to be an interesting off-season for Coach Cal and Kentucky. The transfer portal roller coaster will be a big story for several more weeks.
