The NCAA men’s basketball transfer portal is rather busy, and Davidson forward David Skogman announced his intention to transfer Tuesday.
Skogman is former standout at Waukesha West, and he has one more year of eligibility after spending two seasons with Buffalo and the last two years with the Wildcats.
In 2023-2024, the 6-foot-10 athlete averaged a career-high 13.3 points while grabbing 4.9 rebounds per contest while starting all 17 games that he appeared in.
Skogman had an unofficial visit with Wisconsin in 2019 and with Tyler Wahl graduating, Greg Gard will be looking to replace him in the starting lineup. An experienced option such as Skogman would certainly be worth exploring in the portal.
