NASCAR entered Circuit of the Americas riding the momentum from the sport’s first short track race of the new campaign. Last week, the Cup Series saw Denny Hamlin beat Martin Truex Jr. at Bristol en route to his first victory of the 2024 season. Unlike Bristol, COTA didn’t see much drama over the course of the event.
At the end of the day, William Byron held off Christopher Bell for his second win of the 2024 season at COTA on Sunday afternoon. After a slight overview of the notable moments, here are the NASCAR TV ratings following the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at COTA.

NASCAR and FOX earned 3.310 million average viewers for the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at COTA, up roughly six percent from the track’s race in 2023. The first road course of the 2024 season obviously brought some excitement after a wild stretch of racing. Overall, this is another big jump, and NASCAR and FOX should love it.
Now, the Cup Series is focusing its attention on Richmond Raceway, as the seventh official weekend of the 2024 NASCAR season will soon be underway.
