Kirby Smart and the Georgia football program have dealt with multiple arrests in recent years, with another Bulldog being arrested on Sunday morning.
Former Clemson star running back Travis Etienne’s younger brother, Trevor, was arrested Sunday morning for DUI, reckless driving, and two other misdemeanors. Etienne recently joined the program as one of college football’s top transfers and one of the two best transfer running backs alongside new Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins.
Clemson opens their season against Georgia on August 31, making this case more relevant for the Tigers than some would expect. With disciplinary actions a strong possibility, the Bulldogs may be without one of their top offensive threats against the Tigers.
Georgia running back Trevor Etienne, a transfer from Florida, was arrested early Sunday for DUI, reckless driving and two other misdemeanors. Etienne was booked at 4:35 a.m. and released about an hour later after posting bond.
