No. 6 seed Clemson will face No. 3 seed Baylor in the second round of the West Region of the NCAA Tournament Sunday at FedExForum in Memphis. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. EDT. The game will be televised by TNT.
The Tigers scored an impressive 77-56 rout of Mountain West Tournament champion New Mexico on Friday.
For Brad Brownell, it was his third NCAA Tournament victory since becoming Clemson’s head coach in 2010, and the first since 2018 when the Tigers beat New Mexico State and Auburn to advance to the Sweet 16.
Clemson is hoping for an even deeper run in this year’s tournament. To do that, they’ll have to get past a tough Big 12 opponent in Baylor. The Bears earned a No. 3 seed by going 23-10 overall. Baylor routed Colgate, 92-67, in their opening-round matchup Friday.
