Nikola Jokic threw one of the most ridiculous passes of the season (again!) for an absurd assist

Nikola Jokic must have eyes in the back of his head or something.

Denver Nuggets superstar big man Nikola Jokic has continued his MVP-caliber season with yet another mesmerizing highlight.

While it is his winning brand of basketball that makes him such a dominant force on the court, there are occasionally possessions that make him appear to play more like a magician than an athlete.

He showed another one of those moments during a victory over the Knicks on Thursday night. Even though many basketball fans were focused on the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, those watching the Nuggets got to see a treat with this pass.

Briefly trapped in a double team against New York’s Isaiah Hartenstein and Josh Hart, the big man had his back to the basket and threw an absurd pass over one shoulder.

The dime somehow landed its way to the exact right spot for Denver’s Aaron Gordon, who was able to convert the assist into a quick score at the basket. It somehow wasn’t a surprise to Gordon or the Nuggets broadcasting crew.

Denver went on to win, 113-110, as Jokic recorded yet another triple double.
