March Madness is almost upon us.
For the UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team, it means a puncher’s chance at making it to the title game. But before the Bruins get there, they need to first advance to the Final Four.
According to Vegas, the Bruins have the eighth-best chance to both make the Final Four and win the NCAA national championship. ESPN Bet released the odds for all 64 teams, and the Bruins come in at +300.
Trailing Texas, UConn, Ohio State, Stanford, LSU, Iowa, and South Carolina, the teams ahead of the Bruins certainly are for[anyclip-media thumbnail=”undefined” playlistId=”undefined” content=”dW5kZWZpbmVk”][/anyclip-media]midable. But it is not called March Madness for no reason.
With Iowa and LSU in the Bruins’ way in Regional 2, the Bruins will need to do some serious work to make the Final Four.
But if UCLA can emerge from their section of the bracket, they will have beaten two of the best teams in the tournament and present themselves as true bracket-busters.
