There are only about a half dozen or so games left on the Boston Celtics’ schedule for the NBA’s 2023-24 season. And perhaps the toughest of them all left for Boston to play is their tilt vs. the Milwaukee Bucks at TD Garden this coming Wednesday night.
With the Celtics currently sitting a full 10 games ahead of the Bucks, is there anything to be gained for Boston by playing their best players? Or should the rest them in anticipation of facing Milwaukee and other teams in the postseason at full health? Could there be a way to split the difference by playing the starters in the first half, and the reserves in the second?
On a recent episode, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast took some time to talk it over, as well as other news from the Celtics’ stretch run.
