Every men’s March Madness coach revealed their favorite musician and college hoops fans had so many jokes

Some of these had to be lies.

If you’re looking for a new way to navigate an NCAA tournament bracket, CBS Sports may have just provided a piece of information that we won’t find on any analytics site:

The music taste of each March Madness head coach.

In a survey done by the folks at CBS, they asked all 68 head coaches to share their favorite musician, and let’s just say that not all the results went as expected.

You can almost tell which coaches answered truthfully and who wanted to give an answer that related the most with 18-to-22-year-old players (looking at you, John Calipari). But many of the answers were truly remarkable.

Who would have guessed that Dusty May listened to Rod Wave or that Todd Golden loves Sublime? Respect to Mark Pope for answering Taylor Swift because Taylor just doesn’t lose.

Of course, fans had plenty of jokes and thoughts on the answers. It’s a way to learn a lot about each coach’s personality.
