The Streets of St. Petersburg is first up for the NTT IndyCar Series, and Team Penske will lead the field to the green flag. [autotag]Josef Newgarden[/autotag] won the pole for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg this weekend. Felix Rosenqvist will join Newgarden on the front row for Sunday afternoon’s event. The driver of the No. 2 car starts the 2024 season on the right note

Pato O’Ward and Colton Herta will follow the two drivers on the second row. Most notably, Scott Dixon, Alex Palou, Alexander Rossi, Kyle Kirkwood, and Graham Rahal all qualified 10th or worse for Sunday’s event. Callum Ilott, who is replacing the injured David Malukas at St. Petersburg, qualified in 16th place next to Rossi, his teammate.
