LOOK: Drake Maye basketball highlights resurface on social media

UNC football quarterback Drake Maye was also a pretty good basketball player in high school as well.

North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye will likely hear his name called within the first three picks of the 2024 NFL draft in late April. After three years with the Tar Heels, Maye developed into one of the best quarterbacks in all of college football.

It all started at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, where the five-star recruit was a standout on the football field. But he was also a standout on the basketball court as well.

And on Thursday, his basketball highlights went viral on X (formerly Twitter) by user UNCFanKrusty. Check out Maye on the hardwood:

Maye averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds per game as a junior for Myers Park. As you can see above, Maye was a pretty damn good player.

He probably made the right choice as he is getting ready to make a lot of money at the next level in the NFL.
