LSU hires offensive analyst away from Illinois

Adam Kleffner spent the last three seasons at Illinois working with the offensive line.

Coach Brian Kelly continues to add to LSU’s off-field staff, and he added another analyst into the mix on the offensive side of the ball on Tuesday.

Wilson Alexander of The Advocate first reported that the Tigers are hiring Illinois offensive analyst [autotag]Adam Kleffner[/autotag] for the same role. Kleffner will presumably work primarily with the offensive line after doing the same with the Fighting Illini for the last three seasons.

Before that, he was an analyst working with the offensive line at Stephen F. Austin in 2020.

A former offensive lineman at Portland State, Kleffner began his career with the Vikings as a graduate assistant, he worked his way up to the role of offensive line coach in 2017.

He would spend 2018 with Missouri as an analyst working in offensive quality control before spending a one-year stint as an assistant offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys in 2019.
