The South Dakota State Jackrabbits (19-12, 12-4 Summit) enter as the No. 1 seed this season after getting bounced in the semifinals last year against the North Dakota State Bison (15-16, 8-8 Summit). South Dakota State is led by guard Zeke Mayo, who is averaging 19.3 points and 3.6 assists per game.
The 2nd-seeded Kansas City Roos (16-15, 10-6 Summit) didn’t do much in the tournament last season, losing to the then-No. 10 seed Omaha Mavericks (14-17, 7-9 Summit) in the 1st round. Kansas City’s tournament this year starts with a quarterfinals matchup against the No. 7 seed in the Denver Pioneers (15-16, 6-10 Summit), who feature the nation’s top scorer in guard Tommy Bruner (24.5 points per game).

The Summit League men’s basketball tournament will run from Friday, March 8th to Tuesday, March 12th.
The North Dakota Fighting Hawks (18-13, 10-6 Summit) — the No. 3 seed — have the same in-conference record as Kansas City and are hoping to improve on last season’s impressive performance; they made it to the quarterfinals as a No. 9 seed and lost to the eventual champs in the then-No. 1 seed Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (11-18, 5-11 Summit).
The Golden Eagles, on the other hand, have done a nosedive this season and enter as the 8th seed after winning the tournament last year.
At the time of publication, the cheapest available tickets for the Summit League men’s basketball tournament are $21.
If you’re looking for a more luxurious experience, the most expensive ticket would only cost you $178.
