Recent CU Buffs men’s basketball signee Andrew Crawford is enjoying an impressive final stretch of his high school career with the ThunderRidge Grizzlies.
ThunderRidge, located just south of Denver in Highlands Ranch, beat Rock Canyon last week in the Great 8 and is now only two wins away from claiming the Colorado Class 6A state championship. Crawford and the fourth-seeded Grizzlies will face No. 8 Eaglecrest on Friday (5:45 p.m. MT) in the Final Four at the Denver Coliseum.
Crawford, a 6-foot-6 senior combo guard, scored 17 points and dished out a season-high nine assists in ThunderRidge’s Great 8 win. On the season, the soon-to-be Buff is averaging 14.2 points on 43% shooting from the field.

Crawford is the top-ranked class of 2024 prospect in Colorado, according to 247Sports.
CU head coach Tad Boyle’s 2024 signing class is down to three members after four-star center Doryan Onwuchekwa and the Buffs parted ways last month. Crawford, three-star power forward Sebastian Rancik and three-star guard Feliz Kossaras are all set to join the Buffs as incoming freshmen next season.
