Former Clemson defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro was one of the best athletes in college football, and that athleticism was on full display during his 2024 NFL Combine performance.
During his media availability, Orhorhoro stated: “A lot of people talk, a lot of people bark, but turn on the tape. I’m a real dog.” A lot of confidence from the defensive tackle, and he backed it up. Orhorhoro put together a phenomenal combine performance.
The high-potential defensive tackle ran an impressive 40-yard dash at 6-foot-4, 294, running a 4.9. He has some crazy speed for a guy his size; his time ranked No. 4 for defensive tackles. He added a 1.67-second 10-yard split, the second fastest at the position.
So, how good was this performance? According to Kent Lee Platte’s RAS (Relative Athletic Score), it was pretty ridiculous. Out of 1,620 players at the position, his 9.88u score was No. 21 of the 1,620. He put on a show, which will help his draft stock.
Ruke Orhorhoro is a DT prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.88 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 21 out of 1620 DT from 1987 to 2024.
