The 2024 college baseball season is the seventh for Tennessee under head coach Tony Vitello.
Tennessee opened its 2024 campaign in the Shriners Children’s College Baseball Showdown presented by Kubota.
The Shriners Children’s College Baseball Showdown took place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, home of Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers. Tennessee, Baylor, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas Tech were part of the field.
Southeastern Conference play is slated to begin March 15, while the SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 21-26 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.
The NCAA Tournament selection show will be held May 27 at noon EDT ahead of regional (May 31-June 3) and super regional (June 7-10) play. The season will conclude with the College World Series, June 14-24, at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
