The UNC basketball program 2024-2025 home/away opponents for the Atlantic Coast Conference have been released, with some notable changes.
The ACC released the list of opponents on Thursday, including newcomers Cal, Standford, and SMU to the conference. The three newly acquired schools will play UNC once this season, all three played in Chapel Hill.
The conference is now sitting with 18 teams for the first time and will offer some intriguing matchups, potentially creating new rivalries. Thankfully for the Tar Heels, they were able to avoid the inevitable West Coast trip next year, but with it on the horizon, it’s great that UNC gets a chance at their new ACC foe in their building.
Here’s what UNC’s home/away schedule will look like courtesy of the ACC.
Home/Away: Duke, NC State, Pitt
Home: Boston College, Cal, Georgia Tech, Miami, SMU, Stanford, Virginia
Away: Clemson, Florida State, Louisville, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest
