The Kentucky Wildcats women’s basketball team plays host to the top-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks on Sunday in Lexington for a battle between two Southeastern Conference schools.
The Wildcats have struggled mightily this season, dragging an 11-16 overall record with a 4-9 mark in SEC play into Sunday afternoon’s affair. Kentucky had lost six games in a row but has rebounded to win its last two; UK is 10-5 at home during the 2023-24 campaign.
The Gamecocks are the best in the business once again, bringing a perfect 25-0 overall mark into Lexington along with a 13-0 tally against conference foes. South Carolina has shown no signs of slowing down yet with all but one win — against the LSU Tigers — with a margin of double-digits, putting it atop the Associated Press Poll.
The Kentucky Wildcats will host the South Carolina Gamecocks on Sunday, Feb. 25 at noon ET.
