A Clemson wide receiver was arrested early in the week.
According to reports from the State’s Chapel Fowler, Noble Johnson was charged with driving recklessly on Feb. 14. The young Tiger was on his way to do mat drills when this happened.
The redshirt freshman was traveling at approximately 71 mph in a 35 mph, with The Clemson Insider reporting that Johnson was late to the mat drills, which is the reason for his speeding. The report states that the accident happened at 6:12 a.m. The collision occurred when the driver of the other vehicle failed to yield while attempting a left turn. The driver had a passenger and was charged with failure to yield the right of way and driving without a license.
We will look out for further updates on the incident.
