SEC men’s basketball teams with the most wins in the last five years

Here’s the rankings in terms of wins of the teams in the Southeastern Conference over the last five years.

For most of it’s history, the Southeastern Conference has been dominated by the Kentucky Wildcats where basketball is concerned. Kentucky is the leader in wins, conference titles, national championships, and nearly every other category in the SEC.

Recently, however, they haven’t managed to stay ahead of the field as easily as they have in the past. Coach John Calipari’s squads have certainly been good, but not always the best in the conference. In the last five seasons, Kentucky has just one regular season conference championship, and zero SEC Tournament titles. It has been disappointing for coaches, players, and fans.

As the Wildcats have struggled to stay at the top of the standings, other teams have stepped into the void. Many of Kentucky’s conference rivals have managed to pile up wins, and the Cats have had to watch other teams have more success than them.

Since the 2018-19 season, Kentucky is not the regular season leader in wins. Going into this season, here’s a list of SEC teams and who has won the most games in that five-year span.
