The Duke Blue Devils are up to three straight wins after a win over Wake Forest on Monday night, but the victory failed to move them up in KenPom’s rankings.
Duke still ranks 13th in KenPom’s adjusted efficiency metric after its 77-69 victory against the Demon Deacons, who rank 29th in the rankings.
Illinois, BYU, and Marquette, who ranks 10th, sit ahead of the Blue Devils to keep them outside the top 10.
Marquette, one of the hottest teams in the country, has won seven straight games but has a rematch with Butler on Tuesday night, who was the last team to take down the Golden Eagles.
Despite Virginia’s recent winning ways, North Carolina remains the only ACC team ranked ahead of Duke at eighth overall.
Duke’s next two games are against Florida State and Miami, who both rank outside the top 70 in KenPom.
