After weeks of speculation, a 42nd entry has arrived for the 2024 Daytona 500. NY Racing Team was on the entry list for the Daytona 500 on Monday afternoon but didn’t have a driver listed. Many speculated it could be Greg Biffle, whose name was spotted on the team’s hauler. However, on Monday night, Biffle made a shocking statement that ended those talks.
The former full-time NASCAR driver said he will not compete in the 2024 Daytona with the NY Racing Team due to unfulfilled contract obligations from 2022. Biffle stated he would not participate in any races until the prior contract obligations were fulfilled. It was a challenging but understandable decision from the veteran driver.

This creates a question for the NY Racing Team. Who will drive the No. 44 car at the 2024 Daytona 500? Could veteran driver J.J. Yeley be a good option, as he doesn’t have a ride at Daytona International Speedway? There are some excellent options still available, but time is running out to decide for the NY Racing Team.
