On Sunday night, fans in the Baton Rouge area watching the Super Bowl were treated to a surprise local commercial featuring a new track from LSU women’s basketball star guard and budding rap star [autotag]Flau’Jae Johnson[/autotag].
Johnson’s track was written for an ad for Gordan McKernan Injury Attornies, a local firm. McKernan’s firm has been a major player in the LSU name, image and likeness game, signing deals with more than 80 Tigers athletes.
His latest features Johnson, who has an NIL valuation of more than $1 million per On3 and already has lucrative recording deals for her music.

LSU has become a hub for NIL, especially when it comes to women’s sports, and Johnson has shown just how powerful NIL deals can be when made strategically.
