It has been a whirlwind of a week for fans of UCLA football.
After coaching changes, coaching reassignments, and a highly-rated recruit choosing Nebraska over the Bruins, there has been quite a lot to take in. But following Bill O’Brien’s decision to leave Ohio State to take the Boston College head coaching position, a vacancy emerged for the Buckeyes’ offensive coordinator job.
Shortly after, it was announced that Chip Kelly is leaving UCLA and is expected to be the new OC at Ohio State.
After striking out in the NFL coordinator search, Kelly turns to an Ohio State team rich in history but lacking in success since the departure of Urban Meyer. Under head coach Ryan Day, the Buckeyes are an impressive 56-8 but have only won two bowl games and lost to rival Michigan now three years straight.
Is Kelly the answer to their woes? Here is what social media thinks of the move.
