Super Bowl 2024: Has the Super Bowl ever been to Las Vegas before?

The Super Bowl has a long and storied history, but has Las Vegas ever hosted one before?

The Super Bowl is not just the premier sports television event in North America; it’s also a city-spanning celebration that lasts longer than just the game itself.

In the lead up to the Super Bowl, there are countless events, signings, parties, gatherings and more to rally the locals and traveling fans alike. And oftentimes for that reason, a warmer climate city — or one that has a domed stadium — is chosen for the host city each year.

The 2024 Super Bowl is set for Feb. 11 between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. But, has Las Vegas ever hosted a Super Bowl before?

Not surprisingly, it hasn’t! Super Bowl 58 will be Nevada’s first time hosting the Super Bowl, which makes sense given that the Las Vegas Raiders are the city’s first NFL team after they relocated from Oakland in 2020.
