The Las Vegas Raiders continue to fill out their coaching staff after hiring Luke Getsy to be their offensive coordinator earlier this week. One of the positions that had yet to be filled was the tight end coach, but that is now changing.
According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Raiders are expected to hire former Bears offensive line coach Luke Stecken to coach the tight ends. He worked under Getsy last season and has plenty of experience in the NFL.
Luke Steckel, who served as the #Bears assistant offensive line coach this past season, is expected to be hired as the tight ends coach for the #Raiders, per a league source.
He gets a promotion and will reunite with OC Luke Getsy in Las Vegas.

Steckel was a tight end coach for the Titans back in 2021 and 2022 before moving to the offensive line for the Bears. Steckel has plenty of NFL experience coaching multiple positions on offense and has been in the league as a coach since 2009.
