Justin Jefferson on contract extension: ‘I want to break the bank’

Jefferson is the best wide receiver in the NFL and wants to break the bank. It’s hard to break the bank

The Minnesota Vikings have wide receiver Justin Jefferson under contract for one more season, and extension talks are likely to continue this offseason. Those talks went all the way up until the Vikings’ season opener, but the two sides weren’t able to come to an agreement and tabled talks during the season.

Jefferson spent time on Radio Row at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas and was asked about his contract by Adam Schein.

“I want to break the bank and I want to be a part of an organization that wants me, and to really give me what I deserve.

I feel like eventually, the Vikings will do what they need to do to have me in the building, but I don’t really know at this very moment. Only time will tell.”

These words shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Jefferson is the best wide receiver in the National Football League. He believes in himself and what he is worth and also trusts his team and the Vikings to make it happen for him.
