Dinwiddie County High School (Virginia) junior Harry Dalton III is a name to watch. Dalton is listed at 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds. Dalton has been offered by USC.
Dalton is ranked as the No. 39 athlete and 483rd overall prospect in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The three-star prospect will either play running back or defensive back in college; teams will most likely make a positional decision when he arrives on whichever campus he ultimately picks. USC, though, projects him as a defensive back.
Dalton has offers from schools including Alabama, Duke, Florida, Ohio State, Kentucky, Liberty, Maryland, Minnesota, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
In his junior season in high school, Dalton — despite being considered as a potential running back (if he plays offense in college) — actually played a different position. Dalton, as a junior, played quarterback for Dinwiddie County, completing 107 of 203 passes for 1,662 yards with 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He ran for 1,295 yards on 175 carries with an eye-popping 27 rushing touchdowns.
