Under head coach Buzz Williams, recruiting has been, well, an issue. Outside of landing current start point guard Wade Taylor IV and ascending sophomore forward Solomon Washington, Williams has been forced to rely on the transfer portal to survive each season, which has obviously worked out with the likes of Tyrece “Boots” Radford and Henry Coleman III.
However, this season’s offense, outside of Taylor and spurts of Radford, has been utterly anemic, placing more pressure on Williams to recruit at a higher level, starting with the 2025 class. Last week, one of the top point guards in the 2025 cycle, Sunrise Christian’s (TX) Jeremiah Green, placed the Aggies in his Top 10 program list.
According to 24/7 High School Hoops, Green will now focus on Texas, Auburn, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas State, TCU, Houston, Virginia, and Texas A&M. Back on Oct. 6, Green visited College Station knowing that the Aggies basketball future is as bright as it’s been under Williams, just ending more talent to reach their true potential.
2025 4⭐️ Jeremiah Green announced he’s cut his list to ten. Here are the programs he’s considering:
Texas
Auburn
Texas A&M
Kansas
Oklahoma
Colorado
Kansas State
TCU
Houston

Green is currently positioned as the 51st-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 9th-ranked point guard, and the No. 1-ranked player in Texas.
Green is an exceptional athlete and floor general with elite defensive instincts and the ability to create for others while consistently finishing near the basket, paired with a pure outside shot.
