Plenty of eyes in the sports world will be tuned to ESPN Saturday night, as the UNC men’s basketball squad will host Duke at 6:30 p.m. ET.
There’s been plenty of memorable matchups over the years – several with both teams ranked, late-game comebacks and blowouts.
This year, at least for the first of two matchups, UNC vs. Duke carries more than just bragging rights. The winner will get crucial positioning in the ACC, plus a victory could be the difference between a one or two seed in the NCAA Tournament.
North Carolina is fresh off an upsetting loss at sub-.500 Georgia Tech, who entered Tuesday’s game with just one win in 2024. Duke has looked significantly better since losing to Pitt two weeks ago, winning three straight and moving 1.5 games behind the Tar Heels.
Whether it be Armando Bacot, RJ Davis, Tyrese Proctor or Kyle Filipowski, there’s going to be plenty of stars in the Dean Dome this weekend. If you’re not in Chapel Hill, how can you watch the game?
