50 potential free agent targets for the Jaguars in 2024

In six weeks, the Jacksonville Jaguars will have their first chance to make new additions to a roster that narrowly missed the postseason.

What they’ll be looking for when free agency begins on March 13 will largely depend on what the team does in the next 40 days. The Jaguars will have to decide how many of their impending free agents — which includes Josh Allen, Calvin Ridley, and Ezra Cleveland — they want to (and/or are able to) bring back.

For now, it seems the Jaguars offense is in need of massive improvements along the offensive line, a bigger pass catcher to round out the wide receiving corps, and perhaps another running back to complement Travis Etienne Jr.

The defense may need even more pieces to fill out defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen’s scheme. Jacksonville needs linemen to shore up a run defense that was porous late in the year, pass rushers to spell Josh Allen and Travon Walker, and cornerbacks capable of playing man coverage. Even linebackers could be on the list of priorities if the team is in 4-3 sets and/or decides to save money by parting with Foye Oluokun.

Answers will become more clear as Jacksonville does some moving and shaking through February and into the beginning of March. Until then, here are 50 impending free agents across the NFL who could potentially catch the Jaguars’ eye if they hit the open market:
